When what was a luxury becomes the standard.
On Friday evening, I left the house to buy a loaf of bread and came home with a new car instead. OK, that’s an inside joke, but I did buy a new car on Friday.
I was rear ended while driving to work on Wednesday and the cost to repair is not worth it for my insurance company and they are claiming my vehicle totaled.
So, I need(ed) a new vehicle and after some researching and test driving, I bought a 2011 KIA Forte 5 door Hatchback. It is my first *brand* new car. I never thought I would buy a non-previously owned car, but I did. It was fun.
My new car does not have crank-up windows. It has the *standard* power windows and doors. Crank-up windows are no longer standard. You have to special order them. And in my book if you have to special order them, they’re a luxury item.
